The Brief:

Since February 2006 DDL has provided online training on various OTC derivatives and securities documentation subjects.

Our current full course list is as follows:

• The 1992 ISDA® Master Agreement.
• The 2002 ISDA® Master Agreement.
• Collateral and the ISDA® Credit Support Annexes under English and New York law.
• Repos and the TBMA/ISMA Global Master Repurchase Agreement (2000).
• Securities Lending and the Global Master Securities Lending Agreement (2000).
• Securities Lending and the Global Master Securities Lending Agreement (2010).
• Credit derivatives and their ISDA® documentation.
• Credit derivative indices, structured products and their documentation.

Since 2006 several hundred people from all over the world have taken these courses.

Users of these courses have four months from date of licensing to complete their course and submit their answer to a practical negotiation exercise which tests the knowledge they have gained during the course.

As users go through a course they are tested by multiple choice questions.  If they get the answer right they proceed.  If they get the answer wrong they are drawn back into the text to study it again before retrying the question again.

Answers to the practical negotiation exercise are marked by Paul Harding, DDL’s Managing Director and a completion certificate with the mark is issued to the user.

Each course costs GBP 425 plus Value Added Tax if applicable.
