Course summary:
Day 1 provides a series of case studies on important issues which arise in ISDA® Master Agreement negotiation and culminates in a practical negotiation exercise and a presentation and discussion on potential ISDA documentation issues should a current Eurozone country leave the EU and/or European Monetary Union.
Day 2 consists of a series of case studies covering issues regularly arising in English Law CSA negotiation. It ends with a practical negotiation exercise and a presentation and discussion on the latest developments in proposed US and European regulation in the OTC derivatives markets.

About your Expert Trainers:
Ernst van den Broek has 14 years’ experience in the financial industry and works as an interim counsel in the Netherlands. He has worked for ING Financial Markets, NV Nuon Energy Trade & Wholesale, Rabobank International and various other banks within both their legal and credit departments. He studied law at the University of Amsterdam and holds an MBA degree from the NIMBAS-Bradford Graduate School of Management. He has broad experience in the field of financial and commodity trading including the negotiation ISDA Master Agreements, CSAs, GMRAs, GMSLAs and EFETs. He provides training on all these documents and is a fluent English speaker.
Paul Harding has been involved in OTC derivatives documentation since 1990 and was a well known negotiator with Barclays Capital Securities Ltd. and Hill Samuel Bank Ltd. where he was Head of Treasury Documentation. In 1997 he founded Derivatives Documentation Limited, a derivatives consultancy and project management company based in London providing negotiation, consultancy recruitment and public, in-house and online training services. Its clients include many of the world’s leading banks. Paul has written books on the ISDA® Master Agreements (1992 and 2002 versions), ISDA® Credit Support Documents, Repo Master Agreements, Securities Lending Agreements and the 2003 ISDA® Credit Derivatives Definitions.
