Review and Audit of Master Agreements

03-08-2012

In the current market, especially following another round of credit rating downgrades on many global banks and financial institutions in late June, it is becoming even more important to be fully aware of the terms agreed in your Master Agreements in order to act quickly if a rating downgrade event occurs.

Over the years institutions often change their internal policies but these changes may not have been updated in previously executed agreements.  Therefore there could be many variations of provisions in documents executed over a period of time and this can be difficult to monitor.

DDL can perform a review of your master agreements and extract the relevant data which you require.  This could be all agreement terms or just specific economic/credit provisions. We work within the parameters you set out and all information is kept confidential.

We currently offer this review service for ISDA Master Agreements, ISDA Credit Support Annexes, Global Master Repurchase Agreements (GMRAs) and Global Master Securities Lending Agreements (GMSLAs).

Typically this work is performed on an outsourced basis and we have a team of experienced negotiators whom we can call upon (depending on the size of the project) to review the documents.  The information can be inputted directly into your systems or a separate database prepared.

DDL also offers a negotiation service if, following the review, you identify undesirable terms and would like to amend them.

Please contact us if you would like further information regarding this service.
