Long Course

This e-learning course on the 2018 ISDA® Credit Support Deed For Initial Margin under English Law provides commentary in clear English on each Paragraph in the main body of the 2018 IM CSD as well as a review of Paragraph 13 (the Elections and Variables Paragraph) and the available elections.

It also includes:-

  • An introduction to initial margin requirements for non-cleared OTC derivatives (with a focus on EMIR)
  • A summary of the different types of custodian arrangements.

There are multiple choice questions throughout the course to test your understanding.  The questions have to be answered correctly before you can progress to the next stage of the training.

At the end of the training is a 2018 ISDA® IM Credit Support Deed negotiation exercise which provides a practical opportunity to apply what you have learned.

Completed exercises are appraised by the Course Director who will provide you with a model answer and a certificate confirming that you have completed the course and the score you obtained.
